The Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Chorale, directed by Dr. John Jost, traveled to southern Spain for eight days in late May, presenting concerts in Granada, Seville, Carmona, and Cadiz. Thirty-one Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Chorale members participated in the tour of Spain.

Dr. Kerry Walters performed in the concerts as soprano soloist.  The concerts, presented in prominent area churches, were enthusiastically received by the public.  Chicago composer Paul Carey, who wrote the principal work for the concerts, “El Limonar Florido” for violin, cello, and choir, also came along on the tour.  Soloists for the work were violinist Jenna Ferdon and cellist Britney Whiting, both graduating senior music majors.
