Since an unfortunate accident caused the statue of our beloved founder to be knocked over earlier this summer, there has been much anticipation for her return. To our delight and relief, Mrs. Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø will make it back to Founder’s Circle just in time for our student’s arrival.
The public is invited to attend the reinstallation on Thursday, August 16 at 1 p.m. In the case of severe weather, the ceremony will be postponed to the following day, Friday, August 17 at 1 p.m.
Not only will attendees see the Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø community come together for this once in a lifetime occasion, but they can also participate in a fun and interactive reveal! Prior to the event, the Mrs. Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø statue will be put in place but covered. Throughout the week, faculty, staff and Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø fans alike, are invited to sign the covering with their well-wishes and welcome-back notes.
On Thursday, Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø President Gary Roberts, Fisher Stolz (Sculpture Professor) and Mikki Tran (Student Body President) will say a few words to celebrate the occasion.
