Community Chorus To Present Concert
The Community Chorus will present a concert “Favorite Choruses from Choral Masterworks” on April 9.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Community Chorus, directed by John Jost, professor of music and director of choral activities at Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, and aided by Carol Wessler at the piano, will present a concert titled, “Favorite Choruses from Choral Masterworks,” on Sunday, April 9, at 3 p.m. at the Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker, in Peoria.
Featured choruses are drawn from sacred choral-orchestral works of Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Brahms, and Honegger.
Admission is $10 for adults and free for students. The concert is part of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Music Scholarship Concert Series with all proceeds going toward scholarships for music students. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling 309-677-2650.
