Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø welcomes two Golden Apple Scholars
Melnick, Sperry among 200 Illinois students honored

Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø’s welcomes two new Golden Apple Scholars this fall.
Julia Melnick comes to Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø from Niles North High School as a Middle Level Education-English major. Randy Sperry comes to Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø from Washington Community High School as a K-12 Music major.
The prestigious is awarded to a limited number of Illinois high school seniors each year. In addition to generous funding for tuition, this four-year scholarship offers annual summer institutes to prepare the Scholars for teaching in high-need Illinois schools.
With these two students, Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø will have seven Golden Apple Scholars during the 2015-2016 academic year.
