Join the Illinois Cyber Foundation and the Center for Cybersecurity at Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø for BSides Peoria 2026, a one-day, community-driven cybersecurity conference bringing together professionals, students, educators, researchers and enthusiasts for a day of learning, hands-on exploration and collaboration.

Returning to Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø on Saturday, Oct. 24, BSides Peoria features 15 technical talks, a dedicated keynote from Alethe Denis, hands-on villages, competitions and networking opportunities spanning a wide range of cybersecurity topics.

Attendees can explore the Physical Security Village, Human Hacking Village and Radio Frequency Village, with activities covering lockpicking and physical access controls, social engineering and human behavior, wireless technologies and RF security. Competitions include the BSides Peoria Capture the Flag, Vishing Challenge, Zero Trust, and Phish Bowl, offering opportunities for both experienced participants and newcomers to test their skills.

BSides events are built by the cybersecurity community, for the cybersecurity community, emphasizing accessible learning, conversation and participation. The Center for Cybersecurity has hosted BSides Peoria at Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø since the conference was established by the Illinois Cyber Foundation in 2023.
